Recipe cheesecake brownies

We have a Christmas recipe for you today! Everyone loves brownies … and cheesecake. So, what could be better than combining them both in one delicious cheesecake brownie recipe? This portion is made for one plate (as shown in photo).

250g (2 cups) Dark chocolate

250g (1 cup) Butter 

300g (1 1/2 cups) Brown sugar 

6 Eggs

120g  (1 cup) Plain flour

500g (12 ounces) Cream cheese 

120g (2/3 cup) Granulated white sugar 

1 pack Vanilla sugar (or 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract)

Melt the butter and chocolate in a saucepan. Then slowly stir in the brown sugar with an electric blender. Next, add 4 eggs and fold in the flour.

Beat the cream cheese, 2 eggs, white sugar and vanilla sugar together in a creamy bowl. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Approximately distribute 3/4 of the brownie dough on a baking tray. Then add the cheesecake mixture. Finally, spread the remaining brownie dough over the creamy mixture and place it in the oven for about 30 minutes.

If you want the cheesecake brownies a bit thicker, you can of course also make the recipe in a cake mould. This prolongs the baking time but just test with a skewer to check if it’s done.
